Within railway depot, maintenance works is daily. A safe access to the train roof is essential taking into account the number of operators and the heavy tools used. Risks are omnipresent.

Directly inspired from needs and safety method from SNCF, TRAINANCE is proposing efficient solutions for safe access to train roofs.

TRAINANCE integrates an interlocking system based on a safety type PLC permitting to manage any risk from operator electrification risks with catenary to surrounding mobile equipments conflict or to prevent operator or tool falling.

The interlocking PLC system therefore communicate with all catenary and roof surrounding equipments (Gantry crane, lateral lifting platform, lifting jacks, retractable rigid catenary, gap compensators, …)
